5.9 Mb ???????? :omg: Fore sure i will not look at the full dev, far too heavy for my poor connection.
The drawing seems very good, details are very nice. The general composition is dynamic. But is it a drawing :?: Printing you said...

Thie piece is a dry point etch. 1st i started off with a photo. I got a piece of plastic sheeting approx 2mm thick. i scratched the image into the plastic. I then rubbed an oil based paint into those crackes and wiped off the excess. I then put it through a printing press on damp paper. The dampness of the paper pulled out the paint from the cracks and thats the way it was created

That is awesome. I think it would make a nice album cover.

i am still confused what traditional printing is. may be i have done it but couldnt understand it well. though what u did here is very creative work.
Q. Is Surface Design Technique related to traditional printing ?
because what u did in background is related to SDTechnique.

i guess that damp paper is hmmm what we use in making the copy of original bill in super stores. while u put the original photo on it and drew the image.

cool textures in background and drawing is good. these scratches on work is really interesting.

traditional printing is the best. Printmaking is such an old technique which has been modernised a bit but it is mostly still done the traditional way. with this piece i just used a textured hand made paper which had a lot of charecter to it. anything that is in the background would just be ink resedue frome the printing plate. i just drew the image from an original photo i took.

i love this technique
